The CGSS is a very interesting car, as it was prepared for racing in period, and is extensively lightened.  I have the OHV racing engine complete, but in boxes.  This has a special counterbalanced crankshaft, and many other unique features.  The car was raced in period, and through the 1950's until today.  It now has a standard CGSS side-valve engine fitted, and is very original.  The Amilcar newsletter in UK recently had a long article about the car. I have owned it since 2006.
